Junior Accountant

Job Location : UAE

Key Responsibilities:

• Data entry for receipts, journals, and C-notes on a daily basis.
• Proper filing of transaction records on a daily basis.
• Preparation and submission of BRS reports by the 1st working day of every month.
• Compilation and distribution of Statement of Accounts (SOA) to customers before the end of the day.
• Monthly collection sheet preparation and ensuring all dues and overdues are collected before the month-end deadline.
• Daily collection follow-up and coordination with representatives or couriers as needed.
• Timely collection updates and preparation of deposits for bank transfer.
• Accurate update of credit files for direct customers and sales representatives, adhering to established credit facility terms and conditions.
• Acknowledgement of invoices through ERP and subsequent follow-up for missing invoices via email.
• Petty cash management and preparation of petty cash allocations for sales executives by the 7th of every month.
• Handling of accounts payable, general accounting, salary preparations, and cheque preparation as required.
• Daily reporting of collections to the Financial Manager.
• Additional duties assigned by the Financial Manager.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Commerce.
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant experience.

Desirable Skills:

• High-level skills in handling financial and numerical data.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Proficiency in computer skills.
