Job Summary:
• Installing, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems in elevators. Ensure the safe and efficient installation of elevator systems in commercial and residential buildings.
• Your expertise in electrical systems and elevator technology will be crucial in ensuring the functionality and safety of these transportation systems.
Key Responsibilities:
• Install, test, and troubleshoot electrical components and systems in elevators.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical drawings to determine the layout and electrical requirements for elevator installations.
• Install wiring, flexible cable, controls, relevant programming, and other electrical components according to relevant codes and standards.
• Ability to install and connect landing doors, cabin doors and the required programming.
• Ability to deal with different types of control and should have knowledge about the systems errors.
• Collaborate with engineers, contractors, and other team members to ensure the proper functioning of elevator systems.
• Perform maintenance and repairs on electrical systems in elevators.
• Conduct tests and inspections to identify and resolve electrical issues in elevator systems.
• Ability to prepare malfunctions and recommendations report.
• Preparing installation stage material requirements list.
• Maintaining stock and ordering supplies.
• Keep accurate records of work performed, materials used, and maintenance schedules.
• Adhere to safety protocols and regulations to prevent accidents and ensure a secure working environment.
• Provide technical support and guidance to other team members as needed.
• Maintaining a clean working area.
Job Requirements:
• High school diploma or GED.
• Relevant electrical certification.
• Proven experience as an electrician in elevator installation or maintenance (More than 5 years).
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, wiring, and controls.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and blueprints.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently.
• Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy objects and work in various environments, including confined spaces and heights.
• Willingness to adhere to safety guidelines and regulations.
• Ability to travel and work after hours when required.
Salary, 2500 - 3000 SR + Benefits
