Safety Officer
Job Location : Saudi Arabia
Key Responsibilities :
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments across the organization.
• Ensure compliance with local and international safety laws, standards, and regulations.
• Develop and implement safety programs, policies, and procedures.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, and near-misses to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Train and educate employees on safety protocols and emergency procedures.
• Monitor the use of safety equipment and enforce proper usage.
• Maintain safety records and prepare reports for management and regulatory bodies.
Skills :
• Strong knowledge of safety management systems and risk assessment tools.
• Proficiency in OSHA standards, fire safety, and emergency response procedures.
• Experience with safety audits and incident investigation methodologies.
• Familiarity with safety equipment, PPE (personal protective equipment), and environmental safety protocols.
• Certification in safety management (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA) is required.
• 2+ years of experience in a safety officer role
• Ability to handle sensitive situations with discretion and professionalism.
