Position Overview:
We are seeking dynamic and enthusiastic Middle School Spanish Teacher to join our dedicated team starting in August 2025.
This is an exciting opportunity for an educator who is passionate about SEND Modified teaching and is eager to contribute to the academic success of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver engaging and interactive SEND Modified lessons to middle school students, following the school's curriculum and educational standards.
Develop and implement creative and effective teaching strategies to inspire a love for SEND Modification and foster critical thinking skills.
Collaborate with colleagues to create a positive and supportive learning environment.
Ensuring continuity in the delivery of curriculum content.
Differentiate instruction to meet the diverse learning needs of students.
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom culture that encourages curiosity and exploration.
Participate in parent-teacher conferences and maintain open communication with parents regarding student progress.
Skills
Successful candidates will need:
A Bachelor of Education degree, or an initial degree plus a relevant teaching qualification such as a PGCE, PGDE or equivalent specialism.
Proven experience teaching SEND at middle school level, preferably within an American/IB curriculum school.
Required to modify content for Grades 6, 7, and 8 in Math, Science and Social Studies.
Strong knowledge of inquiry-based learning and hands-on Spanish education.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to build strong relationships with students, parents and colleagues.
A strong desire to continually improve their practice and deliver outstanding teaching and learning experiences for their students.
