• Process Engineering experience in FEED, Basic Engineering and Detail Engineering projects
• Performs engineering activities in all project phases including feasibility/economic studies, conceptual design, identification and evaluation of alternatives, front-end design, detail engineering, construction and startup/commissioning.
• Preparation/review of P & ID, PFD, Line List, Instrument List, Equipment List, Process Design Basis, Control Narratives, C & E Diagram, Design Pressure and Design Temperature (DPDT) diagram.
• Preparation/review of Instrument Process Datasheet, Process Datasheet for reactor, tank, pump.
• Perform Sizing of PSV, PVRV, and ERV.
• Perform hydraulic calculations such as line sizing, Pump NPSH calculations, control valve calculations & tank sizing calculations, preparation of technical reports.
• Adequacy checks Process Calculations (heat load calculations, sizing of equipment’s, Line, Valve List & Preparation of Process Data Sheet.
• Proficient in performing Hydraulic Analysis (Steady State and Transient Hydraulics Studies), Heat & Mass Balance calculations and flare system analysis.
• Experience in Safety System Design.
• Review of Vendor documents and Evaluation of Technical Bids.
• Sound knowledge of international standards, codes, and design engineering practices such as API, ANSI/ASME, Client standards, best practices, and Code of Practices (COP), Shell DEP.
• Safety Reviews (HAZOP/LOPA and SIL assessment studies)
• Hands-on experience on Process design/simulation tools (e.g. Aspen Hysis, Flarenet/FlareSim, Pipesim, Olga).
• Participates in client’s meeting, site visits, vendors, contractor/ subcontractor meetings.
• Carry out site visits to client facilities as required. site survey and data collection, Identify the lesson learns at the end of the project and ensure them to implement in the future projects.
• Evaluate and comment on discipline engineering work performed both internally and by Contractors and sub-contractors to ensure that work is being executed in accordance with project specifications, company standards, and regulatory requirements.
• Responsible to compliance with relevant codes, standards, Project specifications and best practices for Process engineering and design deliverables, IDC Checking.
• Participate in relevant meetings, such as Design Reviews, Technical Workshops.
• Monitoring the progress of the overall project including engineering and handling the manpower utilization as per requirement.
