• 3 to 9 Years in Design and Engineering in the Oil & Gas Field
We’re looking for an experienced Junior/Senior Technical Safety Engineer to join our team. If you have a solid background in the oil and gas industry, particularly in design and engineering, this opportunity is for you! (Site Construction HSE – Please do not apply, this requirement is strictly for Project Engineering Design)
💡Key Responsibilities:
• Prepare Engineering Design Philosophies
• Prepare Scope of Work for all HSEIA Studies
• Participate in HAZOP, HAZID, SIL studies, and other safety workshops.
• Provide technical advice and solutions for a range of safety-related challenges.
• Prepare Loss Prevention, Fire Protection, and Fire & Gas Detection Philosophies.
• Perform Physical Hazard Effects (PHE) modelling using PHAST or similar tools.
• Conduct Emergency Escape, Evacuation, and Rescue Studies.
• Design Fire Protection systems, including Fire Water P&IDs and hydraulic modelling using PIPENET.
• Develop Fire and Gas Detection layouts, Safety Equipment layouts, and Safety Signage.
• Evaluate tender bids and assess procured fire and safety equipment.
• Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams during all stages of project development.
• Review and produce specifications, data sheets, study reports, and design calculations.
• Participate in client and vendor meetings, internal audits, and maintain industry knowledge.
