Key Responsibilities:
Develop and Manage Electronics Engineering Processes: Create and oversee the electronics engineering processes for PCB development, ensuring efficiency, accuracy, and manufacturability.
Audit and Monitor Engineering Processes: Regularly monitor and audit electronics engineering processes to maintain quality and compliance.
DFM Expertise:
Utilize Siemens Mentor Valor DFM tools to ensure designs are optimized for manufacturability and cost-effectiveness.
Training & Awareness: Lead training sessions to raise awareness of IPC Standards, ensuring all team members understand their importance and implementation.
Library Gatekeeper: Act as the Department’s Altium Library Gatekeeper, overseeing the creation and management of PCB components and templates in collaboration with the Drawing Office.
Rapid Prototyping Solutions: Create and manage rapid prototyping solutions in partnership with Halcon Procurement to facilitate quick-turn prototype builds.
Technical Buyer for Prototyping: Serve as the technical buyer for the department’s rapid prototyping needs, ensuring timely and cost-effective procurement.
Mentorship: Provide mentorship and training for junior technical personnel, promoting continuous development within the team.
DO-254 Experience: Utilize your basic knowledge and experience with DO-254 standards in the development process.

Required Experience:
Minimum 10+ years of relevant experience in a fast-paced defense design and development environment.
Experience with Siemens Mentor Valor DFM tools is required.
Exposure to DO-254 development methodology is a significant advantage.
Proven ability to mentor and train junior engineers in PCB development and related processes.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree in Electronic or Computer Engineering (or higher).
Certifications in IPC (International Printed Circuit) standards are a plus
