Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Accountant with proficiency in Arabic to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing financial transactions, preparing financial reports, and ensuring the accuracy of financial data for the company. This position requires a strong understanding of accounting principles, attention to detail, and the ability to communicate effectively in Arabic.
Key Responsibilities:
Financial Reporting:
Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
Ensure compliance with local accounting standards and regulations.
Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
Accounts Payable & Receivable:
Manage accounts payable and receivable, ensuring timely payments and collections.
Process and record invoices, payments, and other financial transactions.
Bank Reconciliation:
Reconcile bank statements and ensure all transactions are accurately recorded.
Identify discrepancies and work to resolve them promptly.
General Ledger Maintenance:
Record journal entries and maintain general ledger accounts.
Monitor and reconcile balances for various accounts.
Tax and Compliance:
Assist with preparing tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations.
Provide support during audits and ensure timely submission of tax filings.
Financial Analysis:
Perform financial analysis and assist in budget preparation.
Provide insights on financial performance to management.
Document Management:
Maintain and organize accounting documents, ensuring they are accurate and up to date.
Ensure proper filing and documentation in accordance with company policies.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience: Minimum of 2-3 years of experience in accounting or a similar role.
Language: Fluency in Arabic (written and spoken) is required. Proficiency in English is a plus.
Skills:
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, or similar).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
