Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Procurement Engineer with at least 5 years of experience in EPC (Engineering, Procurement, and Construction) projects. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing procurement activities, ensuring timely and cost-effective acquisition of materials, equipment, and services required for the project.
Key Responsibilities:
Coordinate and manage procurement activities for EPC projects, including sourcing, negotiating, and purchasing materials and services.
Ensure compliance with project specifications, budget, and timelines.
Review and evaluate vendor proposals, contracts, and quotations.
Collaborate with project teams, suppliers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth procurement processes.
Maintain accurate records of procurement activities and provide regular reports on status and cost tracking.
Monitor supplier performance and resolve any procurement-related issues.
Ensure adherence to health, safety, and environmental standards in all procurement processes.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
Minimum 5 years of experience in procurement within EPC projects.
Strong negotiation, communication, and organizational skills.
Experience with procurement software and project management tools.
Knowledge of contract management, cost control, and supply chain logistics.
Ability to work effectively under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
