Key Responsibilities:
Teach undergraduate and/or postgraduate courses in Optometry, Vision Science, and related subjects.
Supervise clinical training and ensure quality eye care services in affiliated clinics.
Conduct original research and publish in peer-reviewed indexed journals.
Mentor students and guide research and project work.
Participate in academic program development, quality assurance, and departmental service.
Requirements:
Doctoral degree (Ph.D. or equivalent) in Optometry, Vision Science, or a related field.
Minimum 3–5 years of post-Ph.D. teaching experience at the university level (or equivalent clinical-academic experience).
Strong research record with publications in indexed journals (Scopus, Web of Science).
Clinical competence and registration with a recognized optometry council/body (if applicable).
Commitment to academic excellence and interdisciplinary collaboration.
