G4/ G5 Certified Welder shall be responsible for fitting, joining, and fabrication of Chilled water piping in the plant room.
Minimum Experience 5 Years in the same field.
Looking for a Skilled and certified welder to perform high-quality welding work on piping systems, structural components, and mechanical assemblies. The ideal candidate must hold valid welding certifications (e.g., 3G/6G) and have experience working on HVAC, chilled water systems, and mechanical installations in commercial, industrial, or infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform TIG, MIG, Stick (SMAW), and Arc welding on various materials (carbon steel, stainless steel, GI, copper-nickel, etc.) as per project requirements.
Read and interpret technical drawings, welding symbols, and isometric plans.
Carry out welding tasks on chilled water piping, structural supports, brackets, and mechanical equipment in accordance with MEP specifications.
Conduct pipe welding (grooved, flanged, or welded joints) for HVAC and firefighting systems.
Adhere to project welding procedures and ensure compliance with QA/QC standards.
Prepare, clean, and inspect workpieces before and after welding.
Perform root pass, fill pass, and final welding under different positions (3G, 6G, etc.).
Assist in pressure testing and NDT (Non-Destructive Testing) preparations.
Work safely in confined spaces, at heights, or in plant rooms as required.
Maintain welding tools and report defects or material shortages promptly.
Requirements:
Valid welding certification (e.g., 3G, 6G – ASME/ANSI/API/AWS standards).
Minimum 5 years of welding experience in MEP or industrial construction.
Experience welding pipes for chilled water, fire protection, or plumbing systems.
