Your key responsibilities

In this role, you will manage multiple assignments and priorities to meet business commitments without delay. You will use dictionaries and resources to determine word meanings and find their closest equivalents in the target language, ensuring the original intent and tone are preserved. Presenting specialized information with strict accuracy, adhering to format requirements and deadlines, and maintaining a daily productivity standard of translating over 10 pages (250 words per page), depending on the complexity of the content, will be essential. Your responsibilities will also include editing, standardizing, proofreading, and finalizing translations from others, reviewing tasks before sharing them with your line manager or client, and organizing translated material for clarity and consistency. Additionally, you will conduct term base research, share knowledge with your team, and familiarize yourself with EY's policies and procedures to understand how your role impacts the business.

Skills and attributes for success

What we look for

Proficiency in using CAT Tools (Trados Studio)
Fluent, business level English speaking and writing skills. Arabic language as your first language.
Bachelor's degree in the English Language or translation
2-3 years of financial translation experience within audit, banking, or financial institution
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

Ideally, you’ll also have a track record with a leading audit firm and a formal certificate or diploma of translation.
