JOB PURPOSE:
Priority & Personal Banking is a unit within the Retail Banking division, Priority Banking caters to affluent customer relationships, providing a full range of products and services to meet individual customer needs. Whereas Personal Banking account holders are mass customers, majority of Emirates NBD customer base lies in Personal Banking Segment, these customers have access to all products and services.
As a PRB Credit Analyst you will be responsible to assist in achieving both books and revenue targets for all assets KPI of priority banking. The incumbent will be tasked to support the segment to deliver on the budgets and provide best in class services and process Lombard limits proposals (both PRB and BUB segments), commercial facilities, trade finance and retail lending to all PRB customers while processing IPOs applications.
The role holder is expected to interface with several internal and external parties and coordinate with various units within the bank and implement the associated action plan to achieve desired results.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Support Priority Banking sales teams in achievement of volume and NII targets for Lombard lending and asset business.
Prepare and gain approval for credit proposals that will meet the policies and customer needs.
Propose IPO applications for PRB, BUB, PSB and retail SME segments.
Handle the PRB OD portfolio and support the team in renewal/application of secured/unsecured ODs
Regularly review account performance and make appropriate recommendations for optimizing returns.
Comply with the approved policies, procedures and norms to protect the organization’s and customer’s interests.
Ensure that post-approval activities regarding disbursement of facility is undertaken on timely manner by liaising with CRAD for issuance of facility letters, security documentation, recovery of fees, etc.…
Safeguard the reputation of Emirates NBD by employing best practices and acting in a professional manner at all times.
Have full awareness of all policies and procedures issued in relation to Lombard, commercial/business, trade finance, and retail lending policies and regulatory guidelines.
Provide support to RMs WAs, and CROs to proactively manage existing portfolio of client relationships
Take an active part in development of the team of priority banking assets, RMs, WAs, and CROs within the assigned area.
REQUIREMENTS :
UAE National with Family Book.
Education:
Commercial Institute, preferably University Degree in Business or Finance.
English, while knowledge of regional languages is of advantage.
Experiences :
1-2 years in a sales role in the financial services/Banking industry Experience across a wide range of Banking areas, e.g. Retail Banking, Sales etc.
Knowledge & Skills:
Excellent communication and presentation skills along with interpersonal skills are essential for this role.
Strong business judgment and superior analytical abilities, particularly in financial analysis.
Ability to multi-task and work under pressure; flexibility with last-minutes challenges/changes.
