JOB PURPOSE:
• Pivotal leadership role within the IT department, responsible for overseeing the end user support, application managed services, and infrastructure managed services.
• Critical in ensuring that IT services are delivered efficiently and effectively, aligning with the business objectives of the organization.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Operational Leadership
· Oversee the daily operations of end user support, application management, and infrastructure services to ensure high performance and service availability.
Strategy Development
· Develop and implement IT operational strategies that align with the overall business goals, focusing on scalability, reliability, and security of IT systems.
Vendor and Outsourcing Management:
· Manage relationships with vendors and outsourcing partners, ensuring contracts meet the company's needs and are executed effectively.
Service Delivery Optimization:
· Monitor and improve the delivery of IT services using a mix of in-house and outsourced solutions. Evaluate different IT delivery models to optimize cost and efficiency.
Team Leadership and Development:
· Lead a team of IT professionals, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional growth.
Budget Management:
· Develop and manage the IT operations budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and proper allocation of resources.
Technology Upgrades and Implementations:
· Oversee the assessment and deployment of new technologies and systems to enhance operations.
Incident and Crisis Management:
· Lead the IT operational response to incidents and outages, minimizing impact on business activities and customer services.
Performance Metrics:
· Define and track key performance indicators (KPIs) for IT operations to continually assess the effectiveness of the IT service delivery.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
· Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
RELATED YEAR OF EXPERIENCE:
· Minimum of 12 years of experience in IT operations management in a large and diverse group, preferably in a Managed Services delivery model
YOE IN MANAGERIAL POSITION:
Min of 7+ years in a managerial position.
TECHNICAL AND INTERPERSONAL SKILLS:
· Extensive experience with IT outsourcing and various delivery models including managed services, cloud-based solutions, and on-premise
· Proven track record of effective vendor management and partnership
· Strong leadership skills and experience managing large operations
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, capable of working effectively with all levels of staff and management.
· Deep understanding of current IT trends and best practices in IT operations and security.
· Certification in ITIL, PMP, or other relevant IT operations or management methodologies is preferred.
