Dermatologist
Job Location : Qatar
Key Responsibilities:
• Examine patients’ skin, hair, and nails to diagnose various dermatological conditions, including but not limited to eczema, acne, psoriasis, rosacea, fungal infections, pigmentation disorders, and autoimmune skin diseases.
• Use specialized tools and diagnostic methods such as skin biopsies, dermoscopy, patch testing, and allergy testing to identify underlying issues.
• Prescribe medication (topical and oral), recommend therapies, and advise on long-term treatment plans.
• Perform minor surgical procedures such as mole removal, skin biopsies, cryotherapy, and excisions under local anesthesia.
• Carry out non-invasive and minimally invasive cosmetic procedures such as Botox, dermal fillers, chemical peels, PRP (Platelet-Rich Plasma), laser therapy, and microneedling.
• Develop customized aesthetic treatment plans based on the client’s skin type, age, and cosmetic goals.
• Maintain detailed pre- and post-procedure documentation and ensure compliance with patient safety protocols.
• Educate patients on best practices in skincare, sun protection, aging prevention, and healthy habits to maintain healthy skin.
• Address concerns related to appearance, scars, hyperpigmentation, wrinkles, and other cosmetic issues.
• Maintain accurate, up-to-date, and confidential medical records for each patient.
• Document diagnoses, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes in accordance with medical standards and hospital policies.
• Ensure compliance with national health and medical council regulations.
• Work collaboratively with nursing staff, technicians, and administrative personnel to deliver seamless care.
• Participate in clinical discussions, quality improvement initiatives, and continuous education programs organized by the hospital.
• Mentor junior medical staff and contribute to professional development within the dermatology department.
Requirements :
• Medical degree with specialization in Dermatology.
• Valid QCHP/DHP license or eligibility for licensing in Qatar.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in medical and cosmetic dermatology.
• Proficient in English; Arabic is a plus.
• Strong communication and patient-management skills.
