Key Responsibilities:
Manage day-to-day operations of the school library.
Organize and maintain the cataloging and classification of books and resources.
Assist students and teachers in locating and using library materials.
Promote reading programs and literacy activities across all grade levels.
Maintain a quiet, welcoming, and educational atmosphere.
Stay up-to-date with new publications and digital resources.
Support curriculum needs with relevant resources.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Library Science, Education, or related field (preferred).
Prior experience in a school library setting is an advantage.
Excellent organizational and communication skills.
Familiarity with library software and digital catalog systems.
Passion for reading and student engagement.
