Job Summary:
Overseeing and evaluating a project's quality management standards, ensuring compliance and effectiveness, while also developing and implementing the Quality Management Plan for EPC projects in the Power and Water Transmission sector.
Key Accountabilities:
* Carry out all designated responsibilities while maintaining efficiency, precision, and adherence to deadlines, ensuring that tasks are completed effectively and on schedule.
* Provide updates on the overall effectiveness and progress of assigned tasks, highlighting achievements, challenges, and areas for improvement to ensure transparency and informed decision-making.
* Conduct all interactions and transactions with external stakeholders in alignment with the company's stakeholder strategy, ensuring improved satisfaction and prompt service delivery.
* Manage and oversee all QA/QC documentation for the entire project, including certificates, calibration records, test results, inspection requests, non-compliance reports, site instructions, observations, and records of permanent materials delivered, ensuring compliance and accuracy in quality management.
* Establish and define the necessary standards for conducting inspections and tests on all procedures, supervise testing methodologies, and ensure the highest level of quality is maintained across all processes.
* Liaise with the Consultant’s representative and Site In-charge to facilitate inspections, conduct scheduled quality audits, and assess contractor-submitted materials for compliance with the Bill of Quantities (BoQ), project specifications, and approved Quality Control (QC) plan requirements.
* Examine procured materials and equipment both at the factory and on-site to ensure compliance with project requirements, and take part in Preliminary Acceptance Certificate (PAC) and Final Acceptance Certificate (FAC) inspections as needed.
