Responsibilities:
Maintain, update, and ensure the accuracy of patient medical records.
Organize and store physical and electronic patient records securely.
Ensure compliance with confidentiality and healthcare regulations (HIPAA or local laws).
Retrieve patient records for healthcare professionals as needed.
Assist in managing medical record requests, including transfers and updates.
Ensure proper labeling, filing, and archiving of medical documents.
Support medical staff with documentation needs.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in medical records or healthcare administration (preferred).
Knowledge of medical terminology and healthcare privacy laws.
Strong organizational and time-management skills.
Attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficient in MS Office or record management software.
