Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities:
• Identify and evaluate suppliers based on quality, price, and reliability.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with vendors to ensure cost-effective purchases.
• Process purchase orders and follow up on deliveries to ensure timely receipt of materials.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with internal teams to determine purchasing needs.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procurement regulations.
• Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and vendor agreements.
• Resolve any supply issues or discrepancies in a timely manner.
Requirements:
• Proven experience as a Purchaser or in a similar procurement role.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills.
• Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance.
• Proficiency in using procurement software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work independently and handle multiple tasks efficiently.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience in [industry, e.g., construction, manufacturing, retail, etc.].
• Knowledge of supply chain management and procurement best practices.
• Familiarity with local and international sourcing strategies.
