We are seeking experienced and skilled Cooks to join our kitchen team. The successful candidates will be responsible for preparing and cooking high-quality food, maintaining a clean and organized kitchen, and providing excellent customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare and cook food to the highest standards of quality, presentation, and hygiene
- Maintain a clean and organized kitchen, adhering to health and safety regulations
- Work efficiently and effectively to meet kitchen deadlines and demands
- Provide excellent customer service, responding to customer requests and complaints in a professional and courteous manner
- Collaborate with other kitchen staff to ensure seamless service delivery
- Maintain accurate records of food preparation, storage, and disposal
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience as a Cook in a high-volume kitchen
- Strong knowledge of cooking techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety regulations
- Ability to work well under pressure, meeting deadlines and demands in a fast-paced kitchen environment
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Physical ability to lift, carry, and move heavy objects, and stand for long periods
Preferred Qualifications:
- Background in five-star hotels, particularly in commerce or central kitchens
- Experience in heavy-duty central kitchens or coffee shops
- Familiarity with high-volume food preparation and presentation
- Knowledge of international cuisine and cooking techniques
