Scope of Work:
The FM Catering Specialist will be responsible for overseeing and managing the operational aspects of catering services to ensure high quality food, service delivery, Menu development, compliance and client relations.
Job Description:
• Event Planning, work with clients to plan catering details like menu and event logistics.
• Menu management, collaborate with chefs to create tailored menus and ensure food quality and safety.
• Staff leadership, Hire, train, and manage catering staff for events.
• Logistics coordination, handle transport, setup, and breakdown of food and equipment at venues.
• Event execution, oversee operation during events, troubleshoot issue, and ensure guest satisfaction.
• Compliance, ensure food safety. Health codes, and licensing are followed.
• Financial Tasks, Track budgets, expenses, and profitability, prepare event reports.
• Client Relations, communicate with clients, address concerns, and build long-term relationships.
Required Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in hospitality, Culinary, Food management or any related field.
• Years of experience in catering, event management, or food and beverage operations.
• Minimum of +5 years of experience.
• Proven leadership and team management skills in high-pressure environments.
• Strong Knowledge of food safety regulation and catering logistics.
• Excellent communication, problem-solving, and customer service skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Food Handler’s certificate.
