SST Teacher
Job Location : UAE
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and deliver engaging and effective Social Studies lessons aligned with the school curriculum and best practices.
• Create and implement assessments to evaluate student learning and progress.
• Maintain a positive and supportive classroom environment conducive to learning.
• Provide individualized support to students to meet their diverse learning needs.
• Collaborate with colleagues to share best practices and improve instructional strategies.
• Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching skills and knowledge.
• Maintain accurate student records and submit timely reports.
• Contribute to the overall school community through participation in extracurricular activities and events (as applicable).
• Adhere to school policies and procedures.
Requirements:
• Bachelor's degree in Social Studies or a related field, *plus* a B.Ed or Master's degree in Social Studies.
• Minimum of two (2) years of secondary school teaching experience.
• Equivalency for educational certificates required (details to be provided upon application). TLS certification preferred.
• Strong subject matter expertise in Social Studies.
• Excellent classroom management skills and experience differentiating instruction to meet diverse learning needs.
• Proven ability to create engaging and effective lesson plans.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Immediate availability to join (must be currently located in the UAE).
