Job Location : UAE

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain and repair all electrical equipment and systems throughout the hospital, ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and standards.
• Troubleshoot and resolve electrical malfunctions promptly and efficiently.
• Read and interpret technical diagrams, blueprints, and schematics.
• Conduct routine preventative maintenance on electrical systems to minimize downtime and prevent failures.
• Install and commission new electrical equipment and systems as needed.
• Manage and maintain accurate records of maintenance activities.
• Work collaboratively with other engineering and maintenance staff.
• Adhere to all hospital safety policies and procedures.
• Participate in on-call rota as required.
• Contribute to a safe and efficient working environment.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.
• Proven experience as an Electrical Maintenance Engineer or similar role within a healthcare setting is highly desirable.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, fire alarm systems, and medical equipment.
• Comprehensive understanding and practical application of Joint Commission International (JCIA) standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical diagrams and blueprints.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
