Responsibilities:

Supervise and train tellers on proper cash handling procedures, customer service standards, and adherence to banking regulations.
Ensure teller operations are conducted accurately and efficiently, including processing deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, and other transactions.
Monitor teller cash levels and vault management to maintain adequate funds for daily operations and compliance with security procedures.
Resolve escalated customer inquiries or complaints promptly and professionally, ensuring customer satisfaction and retention.
Conduct regular audits of teller transactions and vault balances to identify discrepancies and ensure compliance with internal controls.
Collaborate with branch management to implement operational procedures, achieve sales goals, and enhance the overall customer experience.
Provide leadership and guidance to the teller team, fostering a positive work environment and promoting teamwork and collaboration.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulatory changes, and bank policies to ensure compliance and mitigate risks.
Assist in opening and closing procedures, including balancing cash drawers, securing the branch, and preparing reports for management.
Participate in ongoing training and development programs to enhance job knowledge and skills.

Skills and Experience:

Bachelor's degree in finance, business administration, or related field preferred.
Previous experience in banking or financial services, with a minimum of 2-3 years in a supervisory role.
Strong understanding of banking regulations, compliance requirements, and risk management practices.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally with customers and team members.
Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in cash handling and transaction processing.
Proficient in computer applications, including Microsoft Office and banking software systems.
