Purpose:
To teach students the fundamentals of physics, encouraging analytical thinking and understanding of physical laws and phenomena.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver lessons on mechanics, thermodynamics, electromagnetism, and modern physics.
Design experiments, demonstrations, and labs to illustrate physics concepts.
Assess student understanding through tests, projects, and practical work.
Foster curiosity, scientific reasoning, and problem-solving skills.
Maintain a safe laboratory environment and ensure proper use of equipment.
Collaborate with colleagues to develop interdisciplinary science lessons.
Keep abreast of advancements in physics education and research.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Education or Diploma in Education with a Bachelor’s Degree in Physics or related field (mandatory).
Relevant teaching/administrative experience in an American Curriculum school (required).
Strong communication skills and a passion for fostering student development.
Prior experience teaching physics preferred.
