Music Teacher
Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities:
• Teach music theory, instrumental skills, and vocal training to students across assigned grade levels.
• Develop and implement a music curriculum aligned with national or international standards (e.g., British, American, IB).
• Plan and deliver well-structured lessons that cater to a range of abilities and learning styles.
• Organize school concerts, performances, and music-related events.
• Encourage and facilitate student participation in extracurricular music activities.
• Assess, record, and report on student progress in accordance with school policies.
• Maintain and manage music resources and equipment.
• Create a positive, respectful, and inclusive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with other staff to integrate music with other subjects where applicable.
• Participate in staff meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and professional development sessions.
Qualifications and Experience:
• Bachelor's degree in Music Education or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
• Teaching certification/license appropriate to the UAE (e.g., PGCE, B.Ed., or equivalent).
• Minimum 2 years of teaching experience, preferably in an international or bilingual school setting.
• Proficiency in one or more musical instruments.
• Familiarity with curriculum frameworks such as British (IGCSE/A-Level), American (Common Core/AP), or IB is an advantage.
