We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Assistant Manager to spearhead business development initiatives within our Air Freight Department. The ideal candidate will identify new business opportunities, build and maintain client relationships, and contribute to the growth of our air freight services.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement strategic plans to expand air freight business.
Identify potential clients and generate new business leads through market research and networking.
Build and maintain long-term relationships with clients, partners, and stakeholders.
Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and negotiations to secure new contracts.
Coordinate with operations, sales, and marketing teams to ensure client satisfaction.
Monitor industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to identify opportunities.
Achieve sales targets and contribute to revenue growth.
Prepare regular reports on business development activities, pipeline status, and sales performance.
Attend industry events, exhibitions, and trade shows to promote services.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain, or related field.
Proven experience in air freight, logistics, or freight forwarding business development.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Strong understanding of air freight operations, regulations, and market trends.
Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic plans.
Proactive, results-oriented, and self-motivated with a team player attitude.
Proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
