Key Tasks and Responsibilities:

Responsible for all weigh control and weighing activities
Prepare and issues Weigh Control Procedures
Manage structural data from all the sources including but not limited to:-
Material Take-off
Engineering Estimates
3D Modeling Outputs
Identify breakdown and responsibilities for facilities weigh input. Coordinates and follow up weight inputs
Review data received from other disciplines, vendors for completeness. Ensure area definition is clear and no items are missed or counted twice.
Prepare and issue all Weight Reports
Coordinate / agree with Client for Weight Reporting formats
Ensure weighing equipment is regularly calibrated
Co-ordinate and issue weight estimate for as built condition and on-site weighing results
Oversee third party weighing activities
Maintain Company Standard formats and control
Reports to:
Functionally Reports To: Department Manager
Project Reports To: Lead Structural Engineer / PEM
Qualifications

Essential Qualifications and
Education:

3+ years in oil and gas with major contractor or consultant
BS Degree in Structural or Civil Engineering
Familiarity with the content and application of statutory codes and guidelines. Weight Control or estimation experience
Knowledge in offshore platform configurations and layouts
