Scope
Responsible for overseeing and coordinating the administrative and operational support functions of the HQ procurement department – None Trade Material . This role ensures that procurement processes are executed efficiently, supplier records are maintained accurately, and compliance with internal policies and external regulations is upheld. The Team Lead will manage a team of procurement coordinators or assistants and act as a liaison between internal stakeholders and suppliers.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
5+ years of experience in procurement or supply chain, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes, ERP systems (Oracle), and vendor management.
Excellent organizational, analytical, and communication skills.
Ability to lead a team and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Key Responsibilities:
• Lead and supervise the back-office procurement team to ensure efficient execution of procurement support tasks.
• Oversee the creation, tracking, and closure of purchase orders (POs) and service orders in ERP systems (Oracle).
• Maintain accurate supplier master data, contract records, and documentation in compliance with company and regulatory standards.
• Monitor procurement KPIs such as PO cycle time, vendor responsiveness, and compliance rates.
• Support internal and external audits by providing required documentation and process insights.
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance procurement efficiency and accuracy.
• Train and mentor junior team members on procurement systems, policies, and best practices.
Preferred Skills:
Certification in procurement is a plus.
Experience in large-scale organization.
Familiarity with e-procurement tools and digital procurement platforms.
