Key Responsibilities:
Lead and supervise the bakery team to produce flaky pastries according to recipes and standards
Develop and refine pastry recipes to ensure optimal taste and texture
Maintain high standards of cleanliness, safety, and hygiene in the bakery
Manage inventory, ordering ingredients, and controlling costs
Ensure all baked goods meet quality specifications and customer expectations
Train and mentor junior bakers and staff
Qualifications:
Proven experience in baking, specifically with flaky pastries (e.g., croissants, Danish, puff pastries)
Strong leadership and team management skills
Knowledge of bakery equipment and safety standards
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Passion for baking and attention to detail
