Key Responsibilities:
Assist anesthesiologists in preparing and setting up anesthesia equipment and supplies for surgical procedures.
Ensure proper functioning of anesthesia machines, ventilators, and monitoring devices before, during, and after procedures.
Maintain and calibrate anesthesia equipment according to manufacturer guidelines.
Prepare anesthetic drugs and supplies required for procedures.
Monitor and record patient vital signs and anesthesia parameters during surgery.
Assist in the safe administration of anesthesia under supervision.
Follow infection control protocols and safety standards.
Maintain accurate documentation of equipment maintenance and patient records.
Support the anesthesia team in emergency situations and resuscitation efforts.
Qualifications & Skills:
Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Anesthesia Technology or related healthcare field.
Valid certification/license in anesthesia technology.
Proven experience in a hospital or surgical center setting.
Knowledge of anesthesia equipment, protocols, and safety standards.
Strong attention to detail and technical skills.
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure.
