Commis
Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Responsible for the following duties:
• Assist in the preparation and presentation of high-quality dishes in accordance with hotel standards.
• Follow recipes, portion controls, and presentation specifications as set by senior chefs.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the workstation and kitchen equipment at all times.
• Support mise en place and daily kitchen operations, ensuring timely delivery during service periods.
• Cooperate effectively with other kitchen sections to ensure smooth workflow and service excellence.
• Uphold and comply with all health, food safety, and hygiene standards in line with hotel policies, HACCP requirements, including those mandated by UAE Municipality.
Job Details :
• High School qualification or equivalent is required.
• A Degree or Higher National Diploma in Hospitality or Culinary Arts is preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year of culinary experience as a Commis in a high-volume hotel or restaurant is preferred.
• Basic skills in food handling, preparation, and kitchen operations.
• Familiarity with basic food hygiene and safety standards is an advantage.
• Passion for bakery and willingness to learn and grow within the culinary team.
