Claims Assistant - Insurance
Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates
Key Responsibilities:
• Support the Claims team in managing and processing insurance claims in a timely and accurate manner
• Review claim forms, policies, and other relevant documents to ensure all necessary information is included
• Maintain and update claims records in our database and ensure all data is entered accurately and in a timely manner
• Prepare and distribute claim correspondence to external clients and internal teams
• Contact clients and external parties as needed to obtain missing information or clarify details related to the claims process
• Assist with the preparation and submission of reports and other documents to regulatory bodies and management
• Collaborate with other departments, such as Underwriting and Compliance, to ensure a smooth and efficient claims process
• Provide excellent customer service to external clients and internal teams, responding to inquiries and providing information regarding claims status and processes
• Assist with special projects and other duties as assigned by the Claims Manager
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or equivalent, Associates or Bachelors degree in a relevant field preferred
• 1-2 years of experience in an administrative or support role, preferably in the insurance industry or related field
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and database management
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines
• Team player with a positive attitude and strong work ethic
