The Housekeeping Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the cleanliness and maintenance of hotel rooms, public areas, and staff. They ensure high standards of hygiene, safety, and guest satisfaction by managing housekeeping staff and coordinating cleaning activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of the housekeeping staff.
Ensure rooms and public areas are cleaned and maintained according to hotel standards.
Conduct inspections of rooms and facilities to ensure cleanliness and safety.
Train and motivate housekeeping staff on cleaning procedures, safety protocols, and customer service.
Manage inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment.
Maintain records of maintenance and cleaning schedules.
Handle guest requests and complaints promptly and professionally.
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Assist in scheduling staff shifts and managing attendance.
Qualifications & Skills:
Proven experience as a Housekeeping Supervisor or similar role.
Strong leadership and team management skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Knowledge of cleaning chemicals, procedures, and safety standards.
Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
Attention to detail and high standards of cleanliness.
Relevant certifications or training in hospitality or housekeeping (preferred).
