The Contracts Manager is responsible for managing all aspects of contract lifecycle management, including drafting, reviewing, negotiating, and executing contracts to ensure compliance with company policies, legal standards, and strategic objectives. They act as a key liaison between stakeholders, legal teams, and external partners to mitigate risks and optimize contractual arrangements.

Key Responsibilities:

Draft, review, and negotiate a variety of contracts including supplier agreements, service contracts, partnership agreements, and other legal documents.
Ensure all contracts comply with applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
Collaborate with internal departments such as legal, procurement, finance, and operations to align contractual terms.
Manage contract documentation and maintain accurate records.
Identify and mitigate contractual risks; provide legal and commercial advice to management.
Monitor contract performance and ensure adherence to contractual obligations.
Support audits and compliance reviews related to contractual agreements.
Keep abreast of legal developments relevant to contracts and commercial transactions.
Train and guide staff on contractual procedures and best practices.

Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business Administration, or related field. A legal qualification is preferable.
Proven experience (typically 3+ years) in contract management, legal advisory, or procurement.
Strong understanding of contract law and commercial transactions.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in contract management software and MS Office Suite.
Ability to analyze complex legal and commercial issues.
