KEY RESPONSIBILITY

Manage the IT asset lifecycle from procurement through retirement, ensuring accurate inventory and cost-effective utilization.
Develop and implement asset management policies, standards, and procedures.
Collaborate with IT Planning to forecast asset needs and align procurement with project timelines and budget.
Ensure compliance with licensing agreements, software audits, and regulatory standards.
Lead asset-related reporting and analytics to support strategic decision-making.
Oversee vendors and service providers involved in asset delivery, maintenance, and disposal.
Manage risk, security, and data integrity throughout the asset lifecycle.
Support internal audits, reviews, and performance tracking related to IT assets.

TECHNICAL COMPETENCIES

Asset Management Systems (e.g., ServiceNow, Ivanti, Flexera)
ITIL framework (especially SACM – Service Asset and Configuration Management)
ERP integration and procurement systems knowledge
Budget planning and TCO analysis
Vendor and contract management
Data analytics and reporting tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau)

QUALIFICATIONS, EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS

Essential Qualification: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
Desirable Qualification: ITIL Certification, ISO Asset Management (ISO 19770) training
Work Experience: 6–8 years in IT Asset Management, with at least 3 in a leadership role

Technical Skills:

Lifecycle management, procurement integration, and compliance
Reporting tools and data-driven decision-making
Strong organizational, negotiation, and analytical abilities
