Key Responsibilities:
Transcribe medical reports, discharge summaries, and physician notes accurately.
Review transcriptions for errors and clarity.
Ensure confidentiality and security of patient information.
Follow hospital formatting and documentation standards.
Maintain a database of transcribed reports.
Collaborate with medical staff for clarifications when needed.
Meet deadlines and productivity targets.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in medical transcription, preferably in a hospital setting.
Excellent listening and English language skills.
Strong knowledge of medical terminology and abbreviations.
Proficiency in transcription software and MS Word.
Ability to work independently and accurately.
