Business Development Officer

Job Location : Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Essential Accountabilities, Responsibilities :

• Identify and maximize new business opportunities inside the assigned outlet through networking and field visits, as well as analyze prospective customer profiles and requirements, and determine the business opportunities for NFPC.
• Maintain and grow relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders within the industry.
• Understand client needs and propose customized solutions that align with their business objectives.
• Provide product recommendations and customized solutions based on client needs.
• Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing in line with company guidelines and profitability targets.
• Assist the Head of Department in executing the approved business plan by supporting the implementation of strategic initiatives across each channel within the Business Unit.
• Collaborate with marketing, product, and operations teams to deliver excellent customer experiences.
• Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking functions to promote the brand and generate leads.
• Monitor sales performance and prepare regular reports for management, highlighting progress and opportunities for growth.
• Ensure compliance with company policies, pricing strategies, and sales procedures.

Skills And Qualifications :

• 5+ years of experience in the FMCG industry, Horeca/Food Service sector.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Food Science, Hospitality Management, or any related field.
• Strong knowledge and understanding of the food and beverage industry, with a strong network of contacts.
• Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, strategic thinking, and problem-solving skills.
