The Public Area Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, hygiene, and appearance of public areas within the hotel or facility, including lobbies, corridors, restrooms, elevators, and other communal spaces. The role ensures a welcoming and sanitized environment for guests and visitors.
Key Responsibilities:
Clean and maintain all designated public areas, including floors, lobbies, restrooms, staircases, elevators, and hallways.
Ensure all public spaces are free of dust, dirt, and debris.
Restock supplies such as toilet paper, hand towels, soaps, and disinfectants in restrooms.
Report any maintenance issues or damages to the supervisor.
Follow safety and hygiene standards and procedures.
Assist guests with directions or inquiries courteously.
Ensure cleanliness of outdoor areas, such as entrances and pathways, as required.
Adhere to the hotel's policies and standards of service.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior experience in housekeeping or cleaning roles is a plus.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Physical stamina and ability to stand for long periods.
Attention to detail and cleanliness.
