The Hostess is the first point of contact for guests entering the establishment. She/he is responsible for greeting guests, managing reservations, seating arrangements, and ensuring a welcoming and efficient dining experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Greet guests warmly upon arrival and assist them with seating.
Manage reservations and waiting lists efficiently.
Escort guests to tables and provide menus.
Provide excellent customer service, addressing guest inquiries and needs.
Communicate with the serving staff to ensure smooth service flow.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the reception area.
Handle guest complaints or concerns professionally and promptly.
Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations.
Assist in other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in customer service or hospitality preferred.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Friendly, approachable, and professional demeanor.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Basic knowledge of reservation systems (preferred).
