Tender & Estimation Officer
JOB DESCRIPTION
Prepare costings for tender submissions in consultation with the General Manager & Operations Team.
Liaise & communicate with relevant departments on materials or services required to deliver the scope of work & fulfil the needs of the client. Undertake cost analysis for Facilities Management & life cycle works.
Perform risk assessment, value management & cost control exercises.
Conduct site visits as required to compile accurate data to support the submission.
Prepare the costing models based on project details, bills of quantities& actual condition findings. Implement standardized tendering methods for project procurement; using standard templates, tools & documents that facilitate tender preparation.
Evaluate the proposal supplied by the client as part of the tender process & identify any potential areas of risk.
Contribute to post-submission clarification responses and tender presentations, which relate specifically to contractual, commercial & financial aspects of the tender agreement.
Assist the Executive Management with all contractual queries.
Maintain awareness of the FM industry in general & the various techniques in use.
Contribute business improvement/efficiency ideas & initiatives.
Assist in negotiation with contractors to ensure highest quality service at the most effective price.
Maintain complete customer and other departmental files; collect & catalogue designs and billing information.
File site plans & contract information.
Respond to RFIs and RFQs in a timely fashion.
Any additional assignments related to same field.
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor- Master Degree in Business Administration With relevant trainings and certification in Management System (ISO 14001), Quality Management System (ISO 9001)
Minimum 4-5 Years of Experience in Facility Management Industry
