We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated HSE Officer with over 10 years of proven expertise in the Oil & Gas industry, specifically within ADNOC operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and supervising health, safety, and environmental policies to ensure a safe working environment during plant operations, shutdowns, and piping activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop, implement, and monitor HSE policies and procedures in compliance with ADNOC standards and local regulations.
Conduct risk assessments, Job Safety Analyses (JSA), and hazard identifications for all operational activities.
Supervise and coordinate safety during plant shutdowns, piping works, and maintenance activities.
Perform regular safety inspections and audits across sites to ensure compliance and identify hazards.
Lead incident investigations, root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions.
Facilitate safety training, toolbox talks, and awareness sessions for personnel.
Ensure all personnel hold the necessary certifications and are trained according to ADNOC and industry standards.
Manage emergency preparedness and response plans, including drills and simulations.
Liaise with regulatory authorities, contractors, and internal teams to ensure safety compliance.
Maintain accurate safety documentation, reports, and record-keeping.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or Diploma in Safety, Environmental Science, or related discipline.
NEBOSH IGC certification.
ADNOC-approved Piping & Shutdown safety training (4 months).
Extensive experience (10+ years) in HSE within ADNOC Oil & Gas operations.
In-depth knowledge of ADNOC safety standards, industry regulations, and best practices.
Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work under pressure and handle emergency situations effectively.
