We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Lifting Engineer to serve as the Single Point Authority (SPA) for Lifting Operations within our ADNOC Oil & Gas projects. The ideal candidate will possess extensive expertise in lifting, piping, shutdown activities, and safety compliance, with a proven track record of overseeing complex lifting operations during plant shutdowns and maintenance activities.
Key Responsibilities:
Serve as the Single Point Authority (SPA) for all lifting operations, ensuring safety, compliance, and efficiency.
Develop, review, and approve lifting plans, methodologies, and risk assessments in accordance with ADNOC standards and LOLER/APL certification requirements.
Plan and supervise lifting activities involving heavy machinery, cranes, and specialized lifting equipment during plant shutdowns, maintenance, and construction projects.
Coordinate with project managers, safety teams, and operations to ensure lifting activities are executed safely and within schedule.
Conduct site inspections, risk assessments, and safety audits related to lifting operations.
Ensure all lifting equipment and accessories are certified, inspected, and meet ADNOC and international standards.
Lead incident investigations related to lifting operations and implement corrective actions.
Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers and operational staff.
Ensure compliance with ADNOC safety policies, environmental regulations, and industry best practices.
Liaise with third-party vendors and inspection agencies for equipment certification and maintenance.
Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical, Civil, or related Engineering discipline.
15+ years of experience in lifting operations within the oil & gas industry.
Proven experience as a Single Point Authority (SPA) or equivalent role overseeing lifting activities.
Certification in LOLER and APL (ADNOC approved).
Extensive knowledge of ADNOC safety standards, lifting procedures, and industry best practices.
Experience with piping, shutdown activities, and complex lifting plans.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple lifting projects simultaneously.
