Key Responsibilities:
Read and interpret fabrication drawings, isometric drawings, and blueprints to determine pipe dimensions and layouts.
Cut, bevel, and shape pipes using appropriate tools (cutters, grinders, bevelers).
Assemble pipe spools, weld joints, and fit pipe sections together.
Inspect fabricated pipes and components for quality and accuracy.
Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean, safe work environment.
Maintain and operate fabrication machinery and hand tools responsibly.
Collaborate with engineers, welders, and other tradesmen to ensure seamless fabrication processes.
Document work progress and report any issues or defects.
Qualifications:
ITI / Vocational certificate in Pipe Fabrication, Welding, or related field (preferred).
Diploma in Mechanical Engineering or Fabrication (advantageous).
Minimum High School education (for some entry-level roles).
