Key Responsibilities:
Document Handling: Receive and review job-related documents from customers and agents via email or in person.
Job Registration: Log all job details into the Job Register for accurate tracking and reference.
Coordination: Liaise with shipping lines, freight forwarders, customers, yard operations, HSE, and asset teams for container movement planning.
Container Planning: Strategize and coordinate container movements to and from the CFS.
Terminal Coordination: Ensure timely return of DO-last and vessel-loading containers.
Email Monitoring: Regularly check and respond promptly to container planning queries and general inquiries.
Inventory Reporting: Prepare and distribute weekly container inventory reports.
Special Jobs Coordination: Prioritize container shifts in collaboration with T&D teams.
Bundling Coordination: Update container bundling status with the empty yard admin.
Ship Spares: Receive ship spares and ensure their timely onboard delivery.
Nomination Coordination: Coordinate container nominations with the empty yard team.
OOG Cargo: Ensure safe transfer and handling of Out-Of-Gauge (OOG) cargo to CFS.
Custom Hold Planning: Manage containers requiring NOCs from Customs and Shipping Lines.
Special Handling: Oversee overweight, spillage, and one-sided weight containers.
Leaking Containers: Coordinate status updates and management of leaking containers.
Night Shift Support: Collaborate with the technical team during night shifts for operational needs.
Discharge List Monitoring: Review discharge lists for effective container planning.
Stuffing Tally: Generate stuffing tallies according to system specifications.
Weighbridge Coordination: Manage logistics related to weighbridge operations.
Reporting: Prepare and share daily/nightly closing reports, KPIs, and yard capacity utilization metrics.
Team Instructions: Communicate with foremen and supervisors for gang deployment and task assignments.
Cargo Lashing: Manage cargo lashing, tarpaulin, and cargo rearrangement ensuring safety protocols are followed.
Gate Passes: Issue gate passes via Capella system for smooth gate operations.
Customer Service: Address customer inquiries effectively and refer potential new business to relevant departments.
Technical Reporting: Report equipment breakdowns, prepare work orders, and coordinate with technicians for repairs.
