Senior Quantity Surveyor

Job Location : Dubai, UAE

Responsibilities :

• Reporting to the Contract Manager / the Project Manager (Project Management).
• Planning and supervision of Quantity Surveyors / Assistant Quantity Surveyors tasks.
• Review and submission of the Interim Payment Applications to the Engineer.
• Follow-up and discussion with the Engineer until issuance of the Engineer's Interim Payment Certificates.
• Preparation and negotiation of the New Rates and Variation Estimates with the Engineer.
• Review and negotiation of the contractual and financial terms of Subcontractors quotations and issuance of recommendation of award to the Project Management in the form of Comparison Statements.
• Drafting and negotiation of the terms and conditions of the Letters of Intent / Letters of Acceptance to be issued to the Subcontractors, in line with the company's procedures and standards.
• Review and negotiation of the New Rates / Variation Estimates submitted by the Subcontractors.
• Review and presentation of the project budget and the regular project cost reports to present the budget / cost status to the Project Management.
• Commercial close out of the project including submission and negotiation of Statement at Completion and Final Payment Application including Final Measurements, New Rates ..etc.

Qualifications :

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering/QS
• 10+ years of relevant work experience
