The Tender & Proposal Manager is responsible for managing the end-to-end tendering and proposal process. This includes analyzing bid opportunities, coordinating inputs from various departments, ensuring timely submission of high-quality proposals, and developing winning strategies to secure contracts in line with the company’s commercial objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
•Analyze Requests for Proposals (RFPs), Requests for Quotations (RFQs), and tender documents to assess requirements, risks, and opportunities.
•Lead the proposal planning process, setting deadlines and assigning responsibilities.
•Coordinate with internal departments such as Estimation, Engineering, Legal, Finance, and Procurement to gather all necessary inputs.
•Oversee the preparation of technical, commercial, and financial proposals, ensuring accuracy, compliance, and alignment with client expectations.
•Develop bid strategies, value propositions, and differentiators tailored to each opportunity.
•Conduct risk analysis and ensure all proposals are vetted for contractual, legal, and financial exposure.
•Maintain an organized tender tracker, monitor deadlines, and ensure timely submissions.
Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related field.
•MBA or relevant post-graduate qualification is an advantage.
•Minimum 5 - 8 years of experience in tendering, proposals, or business development, preferably in [industry].
