The Operations Geologist supports exploration and production activities by providing geological expertise in field operations. They analyze geological data, assist in planning drilling and extraction operations, and ensure that exploration activities comply with safety and environmental standards. Key Responsibilities:
Interpret geological data from field surveys, core samples, and well logs
Assist in planning and monitoring drilling and extraction operations
Provide geological input for resource estimation and reservoir evaluation
Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations during operations
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including engineers and environmental specialists
Prepare technical reports and presentations for management and stakeholders
Monitor operational progress and troubleshoot geological issues onsite
