The Engineering Manager oversees the planning, coordination, and execution of engineering projects and activities. This role involves managing a team of engineers, ensuring technical excellence, maintaining quality and safety standards, and delivering projects on time and within budget. The Engineering Manager also plays a key role in developing engineering strategies and improving operational efficiency.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead and manage a team of engineers across multiple disciplines (mechanical, civil, electrical, etc.)
Plan and oversee engineering projects from design to completion
Review and approve engineering designs, technical drawings, and specifications
Ensure all projects meet quality, safety, and regulatory standards
Collaborate with project managers, clients, and other departments to align engineering goals
Allocate resources effectively and monitor project budgets and schedules
Develop and implement engineering processes, standards, and best practices
Mentor, train, and evaluate engineering staff performance
Identify areas for improvement in engineering efficiency and innovation
