The Groups Supervisor is responsible for coordinating and managing group reservations, itineraries, and experiences for large parties, whether in a hospitality, tourism, or travel setting. This includes overseeing group bookings, ensuring excellent service delivery, and working closely with operations, sales, and guest service teams to meet client expectations.
Key Responsibilities:
Handle group reservations and special requests across hotels, events, or travel services
Liaise with travel agents, corporate clients, or group leaders to confirm details
Ensure accurate room/blocking allocations or itinerary arrangements
Coordinate with internal departments (front office, F&B, housekeeping, transport) for seamless service
Maintain group records, contracts, and billing details
Provide timely updates and reports to sales or reservations managers
Supervise junior staff or group coordinators during peak periods or events
Manage check-in/check-out procedures and special amenities for group guests
Resolve issues or complaints from group clients professionally and efficiently
Ensure compliance with service standards, policies, and safety regulations
